Halima is a Ugandan community development professional and social justice advocate with a strong commitment to empowering vulnerable populations and strengthening community resilience. With extensive experience in public service and grassroots engagement, she has dedicated her career to promoting gender equality, social protection and inclusive development. She provides strategic leadership for programs focused on education, health, gender empowerment and community transformation, overseeing implementation, stakeholder engagement and resource mobilisation across Pallisa District and beyond. She also works as a Community Development Officer with Pallisa District Local Government, coordinating GBV response and community mobilisation under the Parish Development Model.
