Australian co-founder Sally is an established Tasmanian podiatrist who has been serving in a self-funded, voluntary capacity across developing countries since 1999. Having grown up in a low socioeconomic environment, she has witnessed firsthand the transformative power of education.
Deeply aware of the privilege afforded to her through access to education in Australia, and grounded in her Christian faith, Sally has committed her life to giving back regardless of race, creed, colour or religion.
Sally brings extensive experience in delivering high standards of clinical education. She has lectured at university level and is a sought-after conference presenter across both the UK and Australia, known for her practical, engaging and skills-based teaching.
For more than 20 years, she has worked extensively in Vietnam, Pakistan and Egypt, primarily within under-resourced hospital settings. Her contributions to international aid were recognised by former Australian Prime Minister John Howard. Sally’s current projects are based in Aswan and Cairo in Egypt, as well as Pallisa in Uganda.
